Laziest!

My it's been awhile since I've posted! Just a quick update, Suti and I moved to a new house, had no internet for a month, transferred our alliance to Spinebreaker (where his Dkp is now Aeru, and my Chiaki is now Rylai [name of my old ud mage there ^_^]), my Photoshop CS2 is "broken", and I'm currently in Cali visiting my family.

Whew!

The lack of posts and new sigs/avatars should all be blamed on Suti being slow to "fix" my broken Photoshop. ^_-

Lazy, Lazy Me

After watching some of the hilarity of Suti and Andrew playing The Bigs I decided to sit down and start on my long, growing list of sig requests. T-T Yeah, yeah I've been lazy, but blame it on my getting a job! I swear! Anyway, I'll start off today featuring Young/Mekila's sig that I actually finished up last week(?).



For the screenshots I actually logged on my priest on Spinebreaker and we had a little photo shoot. lol xD

Chuy, Niu and Ambelina

Today I made three new sigs for guildmates Chuy, Niuxiaobao and Ambelina. I used this brush with arrows for the first time and really liked the effect! Hehe, I used it twice as you guys can see. Anyway, I'll try and have the rest finished asap. Sorry I haven't started on yours yet, Mek. I'll work on it as soon as WoW Model Viewer adds the new stuff, but you already know that. xD





Interesting fact: the backgrounds I used for Niu and Ambelina's are from our first night in Tempest Keep. Woot!

Starbreeze And The Gnomes

Realms were down today for an extended period because of a small patch. Arena season two gear is out, as well as new pvp upgrades! Woot! My guild's forums were actually active this morning and I was inspired to make a sig for a guildmate from one of the threads. Here she is, Starbreeze and some Gnomes hollerin' atcha gurl. <3



Here's a little preview of me in the new Merciless Gladiator shoulders and gloves. The one below is from a screenshot of when Suti and I realized you could take a nether ray ride from Skettis to the Blade's Edge Plateau. I'll have that mount eventually!

Who Doesn't Like Sparklies?

So I finally got around to making sigs for Cyrus and Solidus. Both happened to be mages wearing similar-looking gear. Except WoW Model Viewer hasn't added new skins of the Spellfire Robes so Cyrus' mage got an upgrade to T4 since the vest looked really obvious. Hehe! They're 400x75 and quite sparkly if I may add.




I also made two more avatars last night. One of a female Blood Elf Paladin, and the other a Draenei Shaman.

Up and running!

My new computer is finally put together and is amazing! The game looks so much smoother and more detailed now. ^_^ Thanks to Suti and Kleigh for choosing the parts and building it for meh. I took some screenshots out in Nagrand before I logged to download some add-ons and re-install Adobe Photoshop.

Someone linked a fake guild progression thread on my realm's forums that lead to a Megaman version of Hare Hare Yukai ( The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Suti's cousin Kleigh told me about the spoofs off of the end theme, and there are a ton of hilarious ones. The dance is so cute, I'll have to add this series to my list of animes to watch that will never be finished because of WoW.

Oh and yeah, yeah WoW sigs/buddy icons/random banners inc. soon. I've been saying that a lot recently, but the moving-to-a-new-place and crappy-laptop gods have not been kind to me these past few weeks.

So I lied...

So in the last post I said I'd for sure have a sig up, Solidus' sig to be precise, but noooo I don't have Photoshop yet! =( I tried to work with the latest Fireworks and it just turned out to be a disaster. Anyway, in this post I put up an old, old Korean music video of a band I used to like a lot back in junior high or high school(?) when I went through my Korean/Japanese music phase. ^_^ Comes with having Korean best friends back then. Hehe.

PS: It's hard to just sit back and watch your guild learn new instances and not be a part of it. =( Stupid laptop!

Hello Ellensburg

So now I'm here in lovely Ellensburg, WA. The weather is nice, the air is fresh and clean. The rest of the days have been awesome. Suti's been a great roommate so far. Hehehe. Earlier today we took a walk out on a trail that led to "The Pond". Our other roommate had mentioned it to him before, but Suti had never really gone out there. Well, after walking for about a half hour we found the place and there was already a large crowd by the water. Next week we plan on hanging out there. No, wait maybe later during the weekday since we're going to Seattle for his friend's graduation. Tomorrow we start "real" schedules as in he studies for his finals, and I find someplace to work in the summer now that I'm here. Then apply to go to Central UW, sometime later. :P We'll see, I guess.

He reformatted my laptop, installed WoW, but hasn't installed Photoshop yet. C'mon now! I need to vent some of the creative energy. :E No sig in this post. Next time I'll have something for sure. Ciao. ;]

On a another note: I'm all packed and gtg for my ONE-WAY flight to Seattle tomorrow! No more sad good-byes at the Tacoma airport because I'm going back to Fresno. No sir. Oh yeah and my guild killed Magtheridon last night. Blah, blah PvEz. :3

Currently in the process of moving. I did save all my templates and backgrounds though. Soooo you'll have to wait, Solidus and Cyrus! ^_- Until then here's some Rihanna!

Lots of green in Greene's.

So I realized something today while making Greene's sig. For some odd reason WoW Model Viewer doesn't have Sunfury Bow of the Phoenix. *boggle* Anyway, since I know Greene is a gun kinda guy I just slapped on the Gladiator Crossbow since the shooting animation is the same, and just blurred it so you can't tell what the weapon is. Oh, but I can! Mwahaha.



On a side note if any visitors would like to request a sig I wouldn't mind making one. >_> Just link me your armory, character's skin and facial features, and/or anything else you want to be equipping. Specifics like color, size, maybe certain styles? would be good too, but it's kind of just whatever. ^.^ This blog is pretty new so I'm surprised one of my friends even found out about it!

I swear I put T4 shoulders on Menstral's, but I guess that pose must've been the first SS that was taken because I had made four in different poses. Oh well, atleast I can say the armor in it is really his. Later I'll try to find links to the sites where I downloaded the Photoshop brushes from, but most of it is just from Deviant Art. I'd love to give individual credit where it is due, but it's been so long since I've downloaded them I can't remember. ><>

WoW Model Viewer Sighting

After months of waiting around (mostly procrastinating on my part) for the mod to re-appear on Curse Gaming I finally decided to Google it and discovered that WoW Model Viewer now had it's own website. Cheers! Late last week I tinkered around with it's new feature that allows you to input a person's armory profile and made two. One for Suti and for myself:





Of course for style purposes some of the armor isn't necessarily correct. Suti currently has his Wolfslayer Sniper Rifle banked and I put him in full Gladiator instead of the 2-piece Tier 4 so he'll look all matchy-matchy instead. ^.^ I also made one for my sister who plays a druid on Dragonmaw.
